Our Story

Founded in 1995, in Downtown Tecumseh, MI., by two high school friends, Basil Boys was born. They had a desire to start a business that would grow with a small town community, with a concept to serve quality food at a good price and as owners, always be available to their customers. Nick Pereloff, an original partner, and his brother Chris Perelekos now operate the business celebrating over 15 years in Tecumseh.

While one of the original partners has moved on, the Basil Boys concept is still on track, and continues to grow with the community—expanding from a 30 seat carry-out and catering business to 65 seat fast-casual family dining facility. In addition to the restaurant seating, two private party rooms have been added to accommodate up to 60 people.

Continuing with the original concept, Basil Boys now has a second loaction in Milan MI., just south of Ann Arbor. While just a carry-out and catering location the concept still holds true as the plan is to grow with the community and serve hand panned pizza along with the finest BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken, and greek salad anywhere and as equal important to keep our hot garlic butter breadstix the worlds best!
